“Money Savings Mondays” by NECN (New England Cable News) and had a great interview with their business reporter Peter Howe. We think this video does a great job describing the many money saving benefits of our service! As outlined in the video, you REALLY can lower your foods costs. You just need to plan and plan to take advantage of the store specials whenever possible. We also promote using coupons when it makes sense for your plan, not just because there is a coupon. (We are not big promoters of the extreme couponing phase as it just seems to lead to overspending and often on less than healthy ingredients. But that is a blog topic for another day. ) Even though the focus of the piece was on the significant savings you can realize on a weekly basis with The Dinner Daily, we also consider the health and time savings benefits equally huge. It seems there is more and more information coming at us each day on the benefits of making meals at home with healthy whole food and staying away from the processed stuff. We all know that but it is acting on it and taking the time to plan it all out that is a stumbling block for so many of us. We get it. We are all busy and are pulled in so many different directions all the time. Finding the time to sit down and plan out a week’s worth of healthy meals is not something we always want do. But the benefits are enormous. I often use the gym analogy with The Dinner Daily: its all right here for you just waiting to deliver the benefits. But you have to commit to doing it. Commit to eating better, commit to spending your money in a smarter way, commit to have more enjoyment at dinner with your family. You know its worth it! Whether you prefer to put the time into the planning yourself, or use The Dinner Daily to do it all for you, try using a plan for one month. You will feel better, have less stress, and have lowered your spending as well. All things worth striving for! (kinda like exercise…)]]>
