Our weekly plans are designed to give you a meal everyone will like, so you only to prep/cook ONE dinner per night, and avoid the trap of becoming a short order cook. All of these recipes are great for kids and adults alike, and a few of them were featured in “Positive Moms Magazine” as Toddler Friendly recipes! Even better, all these dinners use only 5 ingredients, take 30 minutes or less to prep, and include healthy whole ingredients.
Kid Friendly Weeknight Dinner Recipes
The
Bean & Cheese Burritos is super easy to eat and we always serve it with mini dips of sour cream and mild salsa (or chopped tomatoes) so the kids can dip the burrito slices as they eat. My daughter always called this “bean treat” when she was 2 and it was one of her favorites! The adults can dress it up with a spicier salsa and guacamole. SERVING SUGGESTION: carrots/fresh fruit

The
Apricot Glazed Chicken is a super quick recipe that always receives rave reviews from our members. The kids loved the sweet/salty flavor combo and we loved how easy it was! SERVING SUGGESTION: steamed broccoli and corn on the cob. (hint: tell them the broccoli is like little trees – make it fun!)
The
Cod with Tomatoes & Couscous is an easy way to introduce a mild fish into your child’s diet. The couscous is cooked right in the same skillet with the fish, making for easy clean up too. Spoon some in a bowl and serve to your little ones with a spoon for easy eating. SERVING SUGGESTION: asparagus (hint: let them eat them like spears – make it easy!)
The
Lemony Chicken Tenders is a healthy twist on chicken tenders. The chicken gets coated and browned in the pan to give it just a bit of that crunchy coating that the kids love. SERVING SUGGESTION: cauliflower mash and tomato & cuke salad
The
Cheesy Mac Skillet is an easy skillet meal that you can do with either ground turkey or beef. We included some baby spinach at the end of cooking time to get the dinner a powerful nutritional boost. SERVING SUGGESTION: simple garden salad
