Love to entertain, but hate the planning and prep? We have your back! We’ve put together an amazing dinner party menu for this spring that is bound to impress your guests.
Even better? This dinner party menu is simple to prepare and cook. Our seasonal dinner party plans are typically an extra benefit for members of The Dinner Daily, but we’re making this one available to everyone. You can download the entire menu, including recipes and the shopping list, at the bottom of this article.
Spring Dinner Party Main Course
On the menu is a scrumptious roast pork that is easy and looks great on the platter when done. It will make enough for leftovers and is gluten-free. It can easily be served either family style or plated, depending on the formality of your party.
Spring Dinner Party Sides and Salad
Classic baked herbed carrots, roasted garlic potatoes, and a fresh spinach and feta salad round out the meal. We always like to add a variety of healthy side options so guests can taste a little bit of everything and we have options for even the pickiest eaters. You can also bulk up the salad and use it as an entree for vegetarian guests.
And for Dessert: Gluten-Free Pavlova
For dessert, we have chosen one of our favorites: Pavlova. It is surprisingly easy and is great to prep in advance leaving you less to do on the day of the party. This dessert, an Australian classic, is an absolute winner! We love to see the look on a guest’s face when they are trying it for the first time. Plus, it is loaded with fresh fruit so you don’t have to feel so guilty about treating yourself!
Dinner Party Prep and Cooking Tips
You’ll benefit from time-saving tips, including what you can prep ahead to make your meal quickly. This will free you from the kitchen, so you can be a participant in the party, instead of a frantic chef.
For example, you can put the potatoes in the oven 10 minutes before the pork is done, then add the herbed carrots when you remove the pork. Both will bake as the pork rests for 30 minutes. There is no last-minute fussing: your oven will do the cooking while you enjoy your guests.
The spring dinner party menu is so good, we have already made it again, just because. Enjoy!

When my sister passed her board exam, we were all thrilled, and we wanted to plan out a celebration party for her. A simple dinner party at home seemed like the perfect mood maker for her achievement, and so I was willing to cook for the party but needed a few tips. I greatly appreciated your tips like preparing whatever can be prepared beforehand to prevent frantic last-minute preparations. Once we find an event planner that can help us out with the rest of the party elements, such as decorations and photography, I’ll be sure to review your article so I can get the best menu going. Thank you!
