We’re all trying to eat more veggies and fruits, but let’s face it, for many of us there are times when nothing beats a good steak. Since Dinner Daily members can “dial in” their weekly menus and select the mix of meals they see on their customized menu, we can tell you that beef recipes are absolutely among the most popular choices. So, we decided to share one of our favorite steak recipes. This Garlic Steak with Feta recipe is a real crowd pleaser and like most of our recipes is easy to prepare, uses a small number of easy to find ingredients, and doesn’t take too long to make. Oh, and its delicious! (Did I mention that?)
Garlic Steak with Feta
Serves 4-6 people (depending on appetites)
Ingredients:
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 lbs steak
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 3 tbs balsamic vinaigrette dressing
- 1/2 cup feta cheese
Instructions:
Heat oil in large skillet. Add garlic & cook for about 30 secs. Add steak and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, turning half way through. Remove & set aside. Add onion to skillet and cook for few minutes, then add tomatoes & balsamic dressing. Cover & heat on medium/low for 5 minutes. While this is cooking, cut steak into strips or 1 inch pieces. Return steak to pan, sprinkle with feta, & heat for a few more minutes. Season with salt & pepper and serve.
