By the time your family gets home at the end of the day, everyone’s usually starving, so you don’t have time for a long prep session – what you need and want are some 30-minute dinner recipes. If you have a plan for dinner, you can get right to it and get dinner going. But we all have those days when we just don’t have it together, and we are faced with either taking out again or boiling a pot of water for some pasta. Not the best way to end a long day.
So, to help out, we’ve developed three very popular 30-minute dinner recipes from our weeknight meal plans that can be made quickly and easily. Here’s the best part: they have broad appeal yet don’t feel like the same old, same old. These are not “breakfast for dinner” types of recipes (“pancakes kids!”). They’re delicious, healthy, and incredibly simple to make.
Give them a try, commit a couple to memory, and always have the ingredients on hand. You will then be armed to resist the pizza delivery every time!
3 Delicious 30-Minute Dinner Recipes for Hectic Weeknights
Turkey Avocado Tumbles
If you love avocados, you are going to love this recipe. The avocados are the star of the meal, and server as the vessel for turkey cooked quickly in a skillet. Serve it alongside a simple salad and you have a complete meal.
3 Ingredient Raspberry Pork Chops
This recipe might seem a bit different, but it is a real winner. It’s simple (3 ingredients!), and the taste is right out of a steakhouse. The delicious flavors, combined with a healthy side of vegetables, make it a healthy dinner option that tastes like you’ve spent hours in the kitchen.
Steak Salad- It’s What’s for Dinner!
The meal is actually a Panzanell which is the Italian name for a chopped salad with bread. We did it with steak, but you can easily do it with chicken or another protein of choice. It also gets bonus points because it makes a great lunch, or leftover dinner the next day.
